Do you ever take the time to examine your Recruitment process from end-to-end? This session will explore an organizing framework from leading experts within the recruitment literature to do just that – examine recruitment from end-to-end (e.g., recruitment sources, recruiters, realistic job previews).
We will provide an organizational schema for
a) Recruitment Objectives
b) Strategy Development
c) Recruitment Activities
d) Intervening Processes and
e) Recruitment Results.
Additionally, influential recruitment activities will be examined in an attempt to guide our understanding as to why certain sources work over others. Practical implications will be discussed to identify the most significant predictors of items key to recruitment success, such as job pursuit intentions and acceptance intentions. Lastly, practical implications will also explore what employers should do to maximize the effectiveness of their recruiting efforts with the fewest resources!
