What is Talentomics? It is the sophisticated study of global, trans-generational management of the talent supply chain influenced by technology and other driving forces.
Lance J. Richards, who has an impressive list of accomplishments and global responsibility, is the VP of Kelly Services' Workforce Strategy and Evolution department (also known as the Innovation office). For kicks, he shared how his first job was at Astroworld in Houston, TX and now it is a parking lot.
Yesterday, Richards conducted an intriguing presentation about the future (which is now) and the following topics:
- Millenials' work preferences,
- The global talent gap,
- HR needing to "r"evolutionize with a different kind of ‘talent’ supply chain, and
- HR learning how the company makes money in order to sit at the Executive table.
