Texas HR Pros Begin PHR and SPHR Prep Course

David Lewis, Director of Business & Professions, Continuing and Professional Education, at San Jacinto College, set up a special study prep course for 25 Texas HR Pros.  The group presented Lewis with a cake on the first day of class for his successful effort in obtaining 25 scholarships and a test fee reimbursement for employed and unemployed HR professionals desiring to take the PHR or SPHR in 2012. 

Instructor Bonnie Scherry, who is a member of Texas HR Pros, is teaching the study course.  Scherry is also teaching the same course with HR Houston this fall.  Lewis collaborated with HR Houston to find Scherry who also previously taught at a local HR chapter in Louisiana.

Members of Texas HR Pros are setting up study groups on LinkedIn for Houston and Dallas.
